Privacy Policy

Information you give us. When you join the early access list, we collect your email address. If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to share in that message.

Content you upload to the app. Once the LOCKT app launches, you may upload screenshots of conversations so the app can generate reply suggestions. These screenshots are processed to produce a reply and are not used to train public models. Where technically feasible we process them in memory and discard them as soon as the reply is generated; any caching is short-lived and used solely to operate the feature.

Automatically collected. Like most sites, we collect basic technical data: IP address, browser/device type, referring page, and pages viewed. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from bots, which receives limited request metadata to perform the challenge.

What we do not collect. We do not ask for, and do not want, the names, phone numbers, or social profiles of the people you are talking to. Please redact identifying information before uploading screenshots when possible.

• To send you launch and early-access notifications you signed up for.
• To operate the Service, including generating reply suggestions when you use the app.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and spam (including bot detection on our forms).
• To improve the product through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the content of your screenshots to train third-party AI models, and we do not allow our AI providers to do so either where their terms permit us to opt out (which is the default for the providers we use).

We share data only with vendors that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of your data:

• Hosting & database. Our managed backend provider stores your email and account data.
• AI providers. When you use the app, screenshot content is sent to large-language-model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google) to generate replies. They process the data on our behalf and do not retain it for model training.
• Anti-abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile and similar services help us block automated abuse of our forms.
• Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LOCKT, our users, or others.

We keep your email until you ask us to delete it or it has been inactive for a long period. Screenshot content used to generate replies is processed transiently and is not retained beyond what is needed to deliver the response and basic abuse prevention. Aggregated analytics and minimal logs may be kept longer for security and product reasons.

Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email locktmedia@lockt.gg. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices for our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and to notify you promptly if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information.

LOCKT is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

LOCKT is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the US and other countries where our vendors operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (if you've signed up) or via a prominent notice on the site before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
